Ciao a tutti,
ieri sono venuto a conoscenza di questo interessante mondo e ho subito installato Boinc sul mio Android dov, dopo diverse ore di computazione e più progetti "completati", non ho raccimolato neanche un credito e immagino vi sia qualche problema anche perché ho notato degli errori nei log; vi copio 8 log di diversi momenti, gli screen delle impostazioni e spero in vostri lumi.

Non contento oggi ho scaricato la versione per linux sul mio Ubuntu e questi sono stati i risultati:

Ah potrebbe essere utile mettere un limite minimo di carica della batteria diverso per la computazione non in ricarica.

Ciao e benvenuto!

Dai log si vede che il calcolo viene messo ripetutamente in pausa perché superi i limiti di carica e di temperatura della batteria che hai impostato. Devi modificare entrambe le impostazioni

Su Ubuntu sicuramente devi solo installare qualche libreria. Penso che ti conviene installare boinc da repository, così ti ritrovi installati i pacchetti che servono. Poi volendo usi questo (che funziona bene) o l'installer che stavi usando (ma bada che la versione attuale è la 7.0.65)

mancano delle voci essenziali . hai abilitato le impostazioni avanzate di boinc in android ?

con quelle puoi settare cpu,ram e temperatuere varie

Sono sicuro che vi sia qualche problema oltre le temperature perché ho visto diversi task terminare con "computation error", ad esempio adesso sono tutti e 3..Ho abilitato le impostazioni avanzate ma le avevo allegate come file perché posso allegare una sola immagine.
Ho impostato che deve trasferire solo sotto wifi, computare quando in ricarica e con almeno il 70% di batteria (che deve avere una temperatura al di sotto dei 45°), può usare 2 core e andare in sospensione quando viene usato almeno il 60% della cpu da altre applicazioni.

Tra l'altro ho appena notato che nei log di oggi ogni ora, dalle 11 di stamane, si presenta una situazione del genere:

Vi faccio presente che nello smartphone ho inserito solo world community grid come progetto e che ho appena notato (dalle statistiche del loro pannello) che ogni errore è di questo tipo: INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning.

Aggiungo che anche l'installazione su Windows mi ha dato problemi perché al momento di inserire i dati di accesso, dopo aver messo username e password con i quali accedo senza problemi nel sito, mi viene fuori un errore:
worldcommunity.org/: Notice from BOINC
Message from account manager: permanent HTTP error

si probabilmente mi era sfuggito.

se il problema è relativo al suspend dovuto all atemp della batteria , potresti aumentare di qualche grado (i miei 60# sono di default , non li ho toccati)

Ho aumentato i gradi ma a giudicare dal messaggio che ho soprariportato che ho trovato nelle statistiche credo che il problema sia lo spazio..anche se ho 400mb liberi nella memoria dove è installato boinc ! ho diminuito al 10% la percentuale di spazio che può usare e mo' vedo..

Non saprei come tradurre quei stati

Niente oggi io e la chiarezza siamo cose diverse :frusta:

Intendevo come progetti inseriti ;) Io ho conosciuto boinc proprio tramite un articolo dell'appa per smartphone (che ho prontamente installato).

Credo di aver trovato la soluzione al mio problema: www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,35510 e nel frattempo ho anche inserito Yoyo@home nel mio smartphone (è in fase di download)

Io scaccolo su WCG ormai da 20gg col mio HTC Desire-S 1257crediti, attivo 24/7 in scaccolo, nessun problema di sorta col boinc originale, nativeboinc mi dava problemi.

Il mio Smartphone ha solo 1core 1Ghz
Per ora scaccolo solo su WCG
